Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Things have been kinda crazy between my birthday and the Tool concert.

Birthday was pretty good. I should be getting my new computer later this week.

Tool concert... oh good god.
Fucking amazing. This was my tenth, and it was #2; second only to my first one. The setlist was as follows:

For the most part I was very pleased with the playlist. I liked the fact that they played 46&2, it is arguably their best song... but that is definately a tough call to make. We also got to see Sober which was the oldest song they played at any of their shows on this mini-tour. I really wanted to see them play The Pot; they played at many of the other shows on this tour, but not for me damnit. If I continue to talk about the show it will bump all the other posts off the page, so I'll refrain for now. The thing that pissed me off the most came at the very end of the show. After the last song they stand on the stage and throw various "souveniers" into the crowd. Two of these items were drum-heads from Danny's kit. Adam threw one into the crowd and was caught by my friend, Aaron. I've been to 10 shows and gotten nothing (except amazing experiences) he has gone to one, and he left with an autographed drum-head. Fucking fuck. Nonetheless it was a great show and the three tool virgins I brought all seemed to really enjoy the show and the experience, which is what I had hoped for.

So this is the beginning of a post, so don't get your stylish silk boxers in a bunch when I give you next to nothing. E3 has been going on, so all the cool, overpriced, technical garbage we will someday be forced to buy is being displayed. Overall, I am most pissed-off about the changing of the PS3 controller from the Batarang style back to the PS2 style (with bluetooth of course). What I was mildly excited to read was here, giving me some faith in the Wii.

Son of Jor-El

I walked into mini-gun fire once...it blew. But if THIS perv can do it, I may give it another go.

If you have not heard, the man of steel is coming back to the big screen with Brian Singer (HACK) behind the helm. The new movie takes place four years after Superman 2 and a bunch has changed. Anyways, this new trailer has come out that kind of explains a bunch. Plus you get to see Kevin Spacey playing Lex for the first time.

Some cool stuff in there. I am hoping that some more of the flashback scenes of Supes learning about his origins are in the final cut (there are a few in the trailers, but that's meaty stuff and I want more). Everyone is in for some nice special effects at the very least. But I could watch the original teaser trailer for this remake over and over.
